Kerala Tour

Kerala is situated in the south west of India. It has one of the highest literacy rates in India and is also the most densely populated state in India. It is located between the Lakshadweep Sea and the Western Ghats. Beautiful beaches, rice fields, mango and cashewnut trees, and coconut palms dominate the landscape of Kerala.

It is the capital city of Kerala and has various attractions such as the Sri Padmanabhaswamy Temple, dedicated to Lord Vishnu; the Napier Museum famous for its Bronze collection and the Sri Chitra Art Gallery, known for its display of paintings from various countries including China and Japan.
Kochi

Alappuzha
Situated on the banks of Vembanand Lake, this coastal town on the Arabian Sea is known as the 'Venice of the east' for the numerous canals that meander through it, on which travellers can enjoy boating tours. This national Park in Kerala derives its name from the Periyar River. Wildlife enthusiasts will enjoy tours of this sanctuary. Kottayam

Kovalam

If you travel 80 kms away from Trichur, you will reach this district - a land of valleys, mountain streams, dams and irrigation projects. This is the gateway of Kerala from the north. 'Silent Valley National Park' is an example of totally undisturbed rain forest. With rich flora and fauna, the best time for tours is from September to March.
Kollam (Quilon)
Situated 72 kms from Thiruvanthapuram, this is the country's center for trading and processing of cashew industry.
Thrissur
With its cultural heritage and archaeological wealth, it is known as the 'Cultural Capital of Kerala'. Amongst the famous temples worth travelling to visit are the Vadakkunath temple which is the venue of the world famous Pooram or Temple festival. Tourists come from all over the world to view this spectacular festival.
Kannur
It is a coastal town in the northern Malabar area and formerly a major port. It is now known for its handloom and beedi industries.
